Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to patients in a hospital or elderly care setting. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Nursing, valid recognition of foreign qualifications (Anerkennung), and proficiency in German (B2 level). Experience in hospital care or elderly care is preferred, but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
- Assess and monitor patients’ health conditions, update patient records, and ensure accurate documentation of treatment plans.
- Work collaboratively with doctors, healthcare professionals, and families to create and implement patient care plans.
- Assist in patient rehabilitation, offering support in daily activities, mobility, and hygiene.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, and aftercare.
- Participate in the preparation and administration of medical procedures and treatments as directed by doctors.
- Ensure adherence to safety, cleanliness, and infection control standards within the care environment.
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families, maintaining a compassionate and caring approach.
- Respond to patient needs in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a high standard of care and comfort.
- Participate in patient discharge planning and follow-up care to ensure a smooth transition after hospitalization.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with healthcare practices and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Recognition of foreign qualifications (Anerkennung) for working as a nurse in Germany.
- German language proficiency (B2 level) required for effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Valid nursing license.
- Experience in hospital or elderly care is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of nursing procedures, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to provide high-quality care under pressure.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with specific patient groups, such as geriatrics, pediatric care, or intensive care.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems or patient management software.
- Additional certifications in areas like wound care, palliative care, or diabetes management.
