Physiotherapist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. As a Physiotherapist, you will assess, treat, and rehabilitate patients with various musculoskeletal, neurological, and rehabilitation needs. The ideal candidate will have a recognized degree in Physiotherapy, be registered with the relevant health authority, and have strong communication skills to build positive patient relationships. Experience in rehabilitation therapy or specialized fields like musculoskeletal or neurological therapy is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments of patients’ physical conditions, including posture, movement, strength, and flexibility.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs, goals, and diagnoses.
  • Provide rehabilitation therapy for patients recovering from injury, surgery, or neurological conditions.
  • Use a variety of techniques and modalities such as manual therapy, exercise therapy, heat/cold therapy, and electrotherapy to treat patients.
  • Educate patients on exercises, body mechanics, and lifestyle changes to improve long-term recovery and physical function.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal recovery.
  • Provide guidance and support to patients regarding injury prevention, health promotion, and maintaining an active lifestyle.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals (e.g., doctors, nurses, occupational therapists) to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting treatment plans, progress, and outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • Recognized degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Registration with the relevant health authority (e.g., medical board, physiotherapy council).
  • German language proficiency (B2 level) is required for effective communication with patients and colleagues.
  • Empathy and the ability to build trusting relationships with patients to enhance their treatment experience.
  • Strong physical stamina to manage the demands of therapy sessions and patient support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to explain treatment plans, motivate patients, and collaborate with team members.
  • Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and the ability to adapt treatment approaches based on patient needs.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience in specific therapy areas such as musculoskeletal, neurological, or sports rehabilitation.
  • Additional certifications or training in specialized areas of physiotherapy (e.g., orthopedics, pediatric physiotherapy, sports therapy).
  • Familiarity with using physiotherapy tools and equipment (e.g., ultrasound, TENS units).
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and provide leadership in patient care settings.
