Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in product development, manufacturing, or maintenance, combined with strong analytical skills and proficiency in 3D modeling software. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and products using 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Conduct mechanical analysis and simulations to ensure design feasibility and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., electrical, manufacturing, and quality) to ensure product designs meet customer requirements and industry standards.
- Support product development processes, from concept to prototyping, testing, and final production.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in both design and manufacturing processes.
- Conduct failure analysis and provide recommendations for product improvements or modifications.
- Assist in the development of manufacturing processes, ensuring they are efficient, cost-effective, and meet quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
- Proven experience in product development, manufacturing processes, or maintenance.
- German language skills (B1–B2) are required for communication with local teams, clients, and suppliers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to think critically and troubleshoot complex mechanical systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate effectively across departments.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with simulation software (e.g., FEA, CFD).
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
- Knowledge of materials science and manufacturing techniques (e.g., injection molding, additive manufacturing).
- Familiarity with industry standards and certifications (e.g., ISO, ASME).
