Electrical Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components. You will work on a variety of projects, from circuit design to automation and power systems, with a focus on ensuring reliability, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have expertise in PLCs, SCADA systems, and electrical safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical circuits and systems for various applications, ensuring high performance and safety standards.
  • Work with automation systems and integrate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and SCADA systems to improve system control and efficiency.
  • Perform electrical system analyses, such as load flow and fault analysis, and provide solutions for system optimization.
  • Design electrical control panels and layouts in compliance with industry regulations and client specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, regulations, and codes in all designs and implementations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and components, providing technical support for system installation and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other engineering disciplines.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in circuit design, automation systems, or power systems.
  • Hands-on experience with PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial automation tools.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations (e.g., IEC, NEC).
  • German language proficiency (B2 level) required for communication with local teams and clients.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on troubleshooting and system optimization.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for preparing documentation and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Nice to Have:
  • Certification or license may be required for public sector roles (e.g., EIT, PE license).
  • Experience with power distribution systems and renewable energy projects.
  • Knowledge of electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
  • Familiarity with design software and simulation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, MATLAB).
  • Understanding of energy management and efficiency principles.
