Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Analyst to join our security team. As a key member of the team, you will help ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our organization’s information and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, a deep understanding of security protocols, and a keen eye for identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security threats and incidents across the network and systems.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify potential security weaknesses.
- Configure, manage, and maintain security infrastructure including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security tools.
- Investigate and analyze security breaches, incidents, and alerts, providing detailed reports on findings and recommended actions.
- Work with IT and development teams to ensure secure configuration and deployment of systems and applications.
- Maintain and update security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
- Conduct regular audits and ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
- Provide training and awareness programs for employees on cybersecurity best practices and company policies.
- Participate in incident response and disaster recovery planning.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Cybersecurity, IT Security, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security protocols.
- Experience with risk assessment and vulnerability management.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail, enabling accurate identification of potential threats.
- Proficiency in using security tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and incident response tools.
- German language skills (B2 level) often required for compliance roles and communication with regulatory bodies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for preparing reports and collaborating with various teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities effectively.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with encryption, network security protocols (SSL/TLS, IPsec, etc.), and multi-factor authentication.
- Familiarity with GDPR and other regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with cloud security and securing cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
