Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer / DevOps Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying, automating, managing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure. You will work closely with development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, implement infrastructure as code (IaC), and help design and optimize scalable cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployments and infrastructure provisioning.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to provision and manage infrastructure.
- Write and optimize scripts in languages such as Bash, Python, or others for automation and monitoring tasks.
- Work closely with development and operations teams to improve overall system performance, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure-related issues.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies for critical cloud environments.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of security best practices in cloud infrastructure.
- Assist in cost optimization and budgeting for cloud services.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or others.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar, are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English. Proficiency in German is a plus.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and contribute to cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Experience with serverless technologies and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of security best practices for cloud infrastructure (e.g., IAM, VPC, encryption).
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
